Information You Provide Directly: Full name, email address, phone number, Aadhaar number, PAN, business name, business address, bank account details, GSTIN (if applicable), and any other details you provide through our application form or contact channels. This information is collected in full because it is required by the Government of India's official Udyam portal at udyamregistration.gov.in to file your MSME registration or edit application. We store it securely and use it only for filing your application — never shared with marketing partners, data brokers, or any third party.

Automatically Collected Information: IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages visited on our website, time and date of visit, and time spent on each page. This data is collected through server logs and analytics tools.

Communication Data: Records of your communications with us via email, WhatsApp, phone calls, or the contact form on our website, including the content of messages and any attachments.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

Service Delivery: To process your Udyam Registration application, verify your details, select the correct NIC activity code, and submit your application to the government portal on your behalf.

Communication: To respond to your enquiries, provide updates on your application status, send your Udyam Certificate upon issuance, and share relevant information about our services.

Improvement: To analyse website usage patterns, improve our services, enhance user experience, and develop new features or content that better serve MSME business owners.

Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable Indian laws, regulations, and legal processes, and to protect our rights and interests.

Government Portal: Your registration details are submitted to the official Udyam Registration portal (udyamregistration.gov.in) operated by the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, as required to complete your MSME registration.

Payment Processors: When you make a payment, your transaction is processed by third-party payment gateways. We do not store your complete credit/debit card details on our servers.

Analytics Providers: We use Google Analytics to understand website usage. These services may collect anonymised data about your interactions with our website.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Specific retention periods:

Aadhaar number: Deleted from our active systems within 90 days after successful filing of your Udyam Registration. We never retain Aadhaar numbers in plain text long-term — only the last 4 digits are kept in masked form (e.g. XXXX-XXXX-1234) for customer-support continuity.

Registration data (name, business details, NIC code, address): Retained for 3 years from the date of filing, in line with MSME audit and re-verification requirements set by the Ministry of MSME.

Payment records and tax invoices: Retained for 8 years as required under the Income Tax Act, 1961 and GST law.

Email, WhatsApp, and contact records: Retained for 2 years from your last interaction, or until you request deletion — whichever is earlier.

Website analytics data (IP, browser, pages visited): Retained for up to 26 months in Google Analytics, then automatically deleted.

After the applicable retention period, your personal information is permanently deleted from our active systems and from backups within an additional 90 days, except where longer retention is legally required (for example, in case of an active legal proceeding).

Aadhaar-Specific Handling (UIDAI Compliance)

Aadhaar is sensitive personal information under the Aadhaar Act, 2016 and we treat it with extra care:

Single purpose: We use your Aadhaar number only to file your Udyam Registration on the official Government portal at udyamregistration.gov.in. Aadhaar is never used for any other purpose, including identity verification, marketing, profiling, or sharing with third parties.

No biometric, no e-KYC, no Aadhaar API: We do not use the UIDAI e-KYC service, Aadhaar Authentication APIs, biometric scanning, or any UIDAI-licensed Authentication User Agency (AUA) channel. We simply type your Aadhaar number into the Government's Udyam portal on your behalf.

OTP coordination only: The Aadhaar OTP that arrives on your registered mobile is shared by you with us solely so we can complete the portal's identity step. We do not store the OTP after submission and we cannot generate OTPs on our own.

Masked storage: Inside our internal records (CRM, lead sheet, support tickets) your Aadhaar number is stored in masked form (e.g. XXXX-XXXX-1234) so only the last 4 digits are visible.

No screenshots or copies: We do not request, store, or retain images or PDF copies of your physical Aadhaar card. The 12-digit number is sufficient for Udyam filing.

How to raise a grievance: Email the above address with the subject line Grievance — [your name + URN] and describe the issue. We acknowledge every grievance within 72 hours and resolve it within 30 days (the maximum permitted under DPDP Act).

Escalation: If you are not satisfied with our resolution, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India established under Section 18 of the DPDP Act, 2023, once it becomes operational. Until then, complaints may be filed with the Adjudicating Officer under the Information Technology Act, 2000.
